How can I help my friend?

Long story short. A very close friend who I've known for decades is on the verge of splitting with her H.
They have a big mortgage, older child who has left home, she has low paid pt job.
H has a long commute to fairly well paid job and has been having affair with single coworker for several months. He's moved in with a parent.
Friend is devastated and I don't live close by but will see her v soon and stay.
She feels very alone and though she asked him to leave and for space doesn't want to split but they are no contact for a couple more weeks until they meet to discuss.
So far I've tried to listen but apart from ducks in a row stuff, personal fund and get a solicitor type advice just don't know how to help her.
Is there anything I can do to support her more?
