How to get the spark back

Hi guys

Just after advice from anyone that's been through this and come out of the other side.

I have been with my partner for nearly two years. The first year was amazing (as these things always are), the second year still good bit different.

My partner (and I feel it too) has recently said that he has got bored with the mundane and routine of it all. We hardly ever had sex although when we do we do both enjoy it. We do love each other and want a future together. We want it to work out but know that we are going through a tough patch at the moment where we feel the spark needs reviving.

Has anyone got experience where they felt the spark had gone and what they did to get it back? (Is that even possible to get it back?)

What’s your life like? Are you living together? I think when you live together (or even when you don’t) you can get stuck in boring routines. Do you have fun together when you’re out doing things? Do you have children?
I think if it’s because you’ve fallen into a boring routine it can be gotten out of but if you don’t have fun when you are doing things then it’s harder.

Thank you, no we don't live together yet. I have a child, partner doesn't and we see each other every weekend. I think we do need to do fun things more (when my child is with her dad every other weekend).
