i know its pathetic, he talks about if as if its the worst thing to happen to anyone.

He does have a perfect life otherwise, and perfect family, and has never suffered the loss of someone close/tragedy in his life.

i point out to him that my dad died when i was 11, my bro in law jumped infront of a train and killed himself, ive had 2 abortions, 2 marriages breakdown and am now raising 2 kids alone.also watched my sisters suffer years of abuse from my dad. my mum is also getting very ill and keeps telling us she doesnt mind if she dies soon.

However I do wonder what ahs been said to him- a friend ats chool was told by her Mum that she would have been aborted had they not been too late for tha procedure, really screwed her up for years sadly.

My mum was on the way to get rid of me when she crashed the car and so it didnt happen.
She also said if I was a boy she would have left me in the hospital. Im intelligent enough to know that even though I know those 2 things she had me, looked after me and loved me.

He sounds pretty determined to be a victim if you ask me, the kind of guy who doesn't want an answer or to solve his 'problem' because then he'd have nothing to fill his time. It also sounds as if he doesn't have enough going on in his life. Fresh air, interests...he needs something.

Tell him that you don't mind being mates but that mates give and take, that he is exhausting you with all this talk and if he carries on you won't be able to support him any more, simply because you aren't capable of carrying the weight of it. Shit happens but we pick ourselves up and get on with life.

God knows, if the most I had to fret about was my mother's miscarriage prior to my appearance I'd consider myself bloody well blessed!
