I think the point of life is to do what does it for you, what makes it bearable and rich, to have your own individual experience of life.
We are all a bundle of our traits, strengths, weaknesses, characters, personalities, morals, attitudes, likes and dislikes etc. so fulfilment, enjoyment and meaning is different for all of us.
Also add in the fact we are the products of our genes, how we were parented, our environment and any health issues we have. That is the blueprint.
Personally the point of my life is my children and grandchildren, my home and garden, nature, books, art, friends, cinema, good food, walking in lovely surroundings, beaches, music etc. These things enrich me, feed my soul and along the way I've had wonderful days, wonderful times with partners and beloved dogs and pet birds. I live simply.
For someone else it could be physical fitness, cars, travel, fashion, keeping chickens, embroidery, being a volunteer, amateur dramatics, charity raising, living in the country, lots of shoes and handbags,....etc.etc.etc.
I enjoy the good moments and store them all in my memory. I've also had terrible times, awful days/years. Life has been a real struggle and has been difficult, a lot of hurt and loss...but life is also to teach us endurance, patience, appreciation, resilience, humility, compassion for others, how to be strong and overcome, how to put mistakes right.
A whole learning experience, but I doubt anyone knows the real meaning.
