Coping both sides when disabled

This came to me as I've got multiple health issues, my OH can't seem to get his head around it. Like today I've been really poorly, I know they'll expect stuff done regardless.

I wanted to hear from both sides and how you cope.

Also really interested from persons who say went into a relationship knowing their partner was disabled.

I want to see really what the 'norm' is as I'm usually surrounded by people obsessed that they can cure me with honey & vinegar & all that jazz. After over a decade of that I'm starting to get annoyed with this obsession.
