So we only split 12 days ago (my decision) and he has already been on a date. Holding hands in a local pub with a women I don’t know. After 14 years I am heartbroken and have been worried about him even though he was abusive to me and my dcs. This has been a wake up call. Why ask me to try and work it out when he has already created a tinder account and moved on. I feel like the last 14 years were a lie and meant nothing. How do you move on from such a smack in the face?

Besides he doesn’t sound pleasant - people don’t change. He’ll be the same sh!t in the next relationship.

I think men often tend to jump into a new relationship right away for whatever reasons.

I met my DP only a few days after him and his XW moved out of the marital home. We're planning on getting married in the near future.

My old boss made an online account the day after his wife told him she wanted a divorce and met someone within the week, last I checked on Facebook they're still married nine years on.

Women seem to tend to grieve the relationship's death a longer time frame. I stayed off those sites for a good year after my divorce because I wasn't emotionally there yet. But I don't begrudge men or women who feel they are there right after a separation. We all have our own reasons and feelings.

Having had another day to reflect I am less upset. I’m not surprised that he has leapt straight towards any available female - he literally hates going home to an empty house and now he’s rattling around on his own. Poor bloody woman she will he subject to abuse just like all his exes.
