Saw my mums guy smoking...

Smoking is an absolute deal-breaker for her. He always did smoke, and so she couldn't imagine herself with him. He stopped 6 months ago, they met up at a party soon after & have been dating since.

I just saw him outside a shop finishing a cigarette. He said recently he had been tempted, but hadn't. Either he was lying, or that could have been his first one for all I know.

Should I tell her, or stay out?

If it's a slip then that's down to him and having people on at him about 1 fag will not assist his resolve.

If he's a regular smoker she'll notice soon enough, he will clearly smell of it...if it's only one now and again then it's not really a big deal!

Although there was a woman on here a week or so ago freaking out that she found her partner vaping, but I can't remember what ever came of that lol

It's not a smell you can hide. Cigarette smokers absolutely stink. They are vile. She won't miss it.
