My 'little' girl gets married this weekend. She's actually 26 not little and has been totally independent since she was 18 (with a bit help of bank of M & D from time to time).
Some of the time she is a complete cow and I get the brunt of that. She suffers PMDD and she knows how to hurt me so I'm learning how to roll with the punches (which can be vicious). But what has knocked me for six is the tears. I find myself sitting doing something (I've been helping with the bridesmaids dresses) and all of a sudden I'm in floods of tears. I'm now anxious about the the wedding in case I start crying and end up embarrassing myself (and the whole family).

If we were really close and she was leaving home I think I could understand it, but really .... where is this coming from ? What's your experience ? Is it a part (another part) of the menopause ? On a less serious note, can you recommend a really good waterproof mascara ?
