That’s it really. I was wondering if any of the lovely posters here had any personal recommendations of books that have helped them in real life?

I use attachment theory a lot at work, but I found David Howe's Attachment Across the Life Course easy to understand how attachment affects us at different ages. There's also a book about schema therapy (which is a combination of different theories and therapies including attachment) called Reinventing Your Life by Jeffrey Young that's very interesting.

Avoidant: How to Love (or Leave) a Dismissive Partner by Jeb Kinnison. Very good, helped me understand XH.

Also Women Who Love Too Much is based on women with anxious attachment.
