How picky should you be when OLD? It makes me pickier than IRL

e.g. a man's profile popped up, near me, similar age, he looked attractive, seemed fairly interesting.... but he had a cat.

I don't like cats. So I swiped left. But what if I'd met him in a pub and he'd been the love of my life? I'd have probably put up with the cat.

I'm prone to overthinking things....

Sweetie shop syndrome - you have plenty more profiles to choose from. I have a mental list of absolute no, not ideal, not worth worrying about.

I much prefer meeting people in real life.
