Hi I know this is the wrong place to post but just looking advice

Got my 12wk blood tests done last Monday they said they would only contact if anything showed up and it would be a withheld number.

I got a missed call this evening from a with held number panicked and rang the antenatal clinic but they said no one there had tried to contact me but she couldn’t give me my results as she’d no access to computer...I’m in Northern Ireland

Two questions

  1. would those blood results (HIV syohillis etc) be sent to the antenatal clinic

  2. would a hospital wait until 430pm to ring you with results

I'm sure you can still ring to ask for the results, even if everything has come back clear.

Hospitals call at any time they have time available to deal with these kind of things. Try not to worry too much and try calling tomorrow to ask if the results have come back yet, that's what I did.

The reason I have myself in a panic is that I had unprotected sex ONS and got a STD test ten weeks after...it came back clear and the nurse told me
I was low risk for HIV anyway she never said about getting re tested after 12 weeks and since becoming pregnant I am really worried I may have got a false positive then (it was a year ago)

Just do your best to not worry about something that hasn't happened. I hope they give you the results soon.
