So I'm separated, it's hard but I think getting to know new people and casually dating could give me the pick up I need and help me move on, but which dating site? There's so many options and different prices, any recommendations for 40+ ???

I think Bumble is good-the woman has message first but I prefer that as less random dick pics!!

Thanks - anyone used elite - seem to have plenty of late 40's professional men who aren't looking for a woman to have kids with. So far with the freebie sites they are late 40's but looking for 2-3 kids, even if I can conceive (unlikely) I would definitely not want more than one more

Tinder is good, not a hook up site anymore, as is Zoosk.

My rules are:

Decent photo's and very importantly a decent profile.

Good luck and enjoy, it can be fun.

I met my current (very lovely) boyfriend on PoF, but there is quite a bit of dross to wade through. Make sure you know what you want in terms of a relationship (long-term, casual, FWB etc), what you expect in a partner (exclusive, employed, kids/no kids or whatever), and also what your deal-breakers are (smoking was a deal breaker for me, for example). You will get lots of messages, particularly on a site like PoF, but there are some good men out there. I had dates off both PoF and Tinder, all were fine because I was quite choosy about who I met.
