I have another post/thread on here. I will try and link the URL when I can figure it out.

I need to leave DP, he is inconsiderate he disappeared for a week and is now back like nothing has happened.

I suffer from anxiety and OCD and he keeps on adding to it.

We are due to move into our new house shortly and I don't want and are not going to let him come with us.

He is making our little boy who is 6 years of age suffer from anxiety, he should not have to go through this.

Me and DS went out for the day today I left the house at 8.45am I left that early because if DP was awake DS would have wanted to stay with him.

Please help me to leave!

Is your new house owned, private rented, or LHA rented? If rented, are you both on the tenancy? Are you married?

If you were going to be joint tenants and you haven't already signed, DON'T. That will give him a legal right to live at the new home.

NotSuchASmugMarriedNow1 · 08/06/2019 18:45

Whose name is the new house in

ToFeelHappy · 08/06/2019 19:02

Our new house is owned and it's in my name only.

He is paying the rent on the place we live now.

Whose name is your current home in? Who pays the rent is irrelevant really.

ToFeelHappy · 08/06/2019 19:15

@NotSuchASmugMarriedNow1

This is also in my name but he pays the rent.

In that case you need to take your name off the tenancy otherwise you will still be liable for rent even though you don't live there.
