Hey guys.
I did something messed up, I don't know what to do.
I am in a serious relationship and have a son with this guy. His brother is also in a serious relationship but we hooked up. We agreed it shouldn't have happened but we hooked up again the other night. He said it shouldn't have happened (again) but I believe it happened for a reason. If it shouldn't have happened the first time why did he throw himself at me a second? How should I handle this? What does it all mean?

It means you are well on the path of blowing up your entire life. The reality is that your partner's relationship with his brother will be destroyed and you will be left to raise your child alone. It's time to grow up, admit what you've done, and your relationship, and find a way forward. Welcome to the world of consequences.

You need to be honest with your OH. He's been let down by two of the most important people in his life and it's best that he hears it from one of you rather than his brothers current OH when she (undoubtedly) finds out in the coming months/years.

You're both obviously not happy in your relationships, but don't take that to mean that he wants to be with you, especially if he's saying it was a mistake.

Hooked up ?

You mean you fucked your partner's brother ? Well, aren't you classy.

Just because he threw himself at you, you didn't have to catch him. A decent person would have not responded. This won't be a great love story of people 'meant to be against all odds', it will be a shit show
