DH just brought me a surprise hot chocolate whilst I was nursing our 4wo DS ♥️

What's the best thing your DP has done for you this week?

He popped home to get something when at work while I was out at a toddler group. Only realised he had been and gone when I found a fresh hot cup of tea with a note saying 'I love you'. We must have only just missed each other but it made my day

DH charges my phone for me every night otherwise I'd forget. After 10 years of marriage I'm happy with that.

I’m a widow but my 15 year old son always orders a box of cookies from Domino's when we’re getting pizza and then cycles a couple miles to his girlfriends to give them to her, have a quick cuddle then cycles back! So sweet!

Made me tea in the morning
Held my hand whilst I climbed a rock face
Served my dinner
Held me when I cried
Filled my car with fuel
Told me he loved me every day
Invited and cooked my widowed Mum dinner

@Pipandmum Wow! Suddenly my hot chocolate doesn't seem so great!

He's worked a fuck ton of hours this week including two all nighters then on his day off set his alarm for 15 minutes before mine so he could make me a cup of tea in bed before I went to work.

I think so much resentment has been built up recently I've realised small things aren't being appreciated Confused we are becoming like zombies and just hanging on a thread. I love this post though it's made me realise a few things!

GlossyTaco · 01/06/2019 10:56

He got up at 6am with the baby , he woke me up at 9:30 with a cup of tea.

category12 · 01/06/2019 11:21

Surely holding your hand while you climb a rock face makes it harder Grin.

Popsiclewopsicle · 01/06/2019 11:27

He’s insisted on driving an hour and a half tonight to pick me and my two dds up from the spice girls concert in Manchester as I was nervous about driving back at that time of night on my own and being tired and he didn’t want to take them back on the train that late either. Not only that but he’s a Liverpool fan and is missing the champions league final to do so (although he didn’t realise at the time bless him).

Theredjellybean · 01/06/2019 11:38

he got up at 5:30 am today and rigged my little sailing dinghy for me...before he caught the early flight to london for a trip to india for 2 weeks on buisness..which he hates doing.
but he knows rigging is job i hate , even though i am perfectly capable.
