Who thinks no contact always works?

I don't want back with my ex but l want to get over him. We split last year and kept vaguely in contact but now he's told me he is getting married. It's had a huge impact on me. Is no contact the way to go? Sometimes l think not knowing allows fantasies to build up but l am not sure l can cope with being casual friends.

Stop torturing yourself then.
If you never let them go, they will continue hurting you. I am talking from experience.

No need to send him dramatic texts to say goodbye, just stop initiating contact and barely respond when he texts.

You’ll get over him, even if now you think you never will.
