Feeling rather meh. Met him a few years ago and we had a fling. Started messaging again, I can't pinpoint when but it's been a few months. He wants different to me and is living it up in his career travelling all over and living in hotels etc.
I've been enjoying the flirting and eventually we met up again on Thursday for a drink. He was passing my junction when on the way back from his latest business trip. I can't help but feel he wanted a 'stop off s#@g' - which I didn't give him.
I think he might have left quite let down and haven't heard since! Why do I even feel bothered?! I thought it would pick him up but it's made me feel worse

Because it's always annoying if they're not that bothered. You just want the ego boost of him wanting you. I would be the same but unless you're genuinely interested then l would move on.
