AIBU - OH celebrity crush

Don’t know if I should laugh or cry. Maybe cry with laughter....

My OH has a long standing crush on a celebrity. Which is fine. Because Ryan Reynolds is mine.

However, he (my OH, not Ryan) frequently leaves comments on her social media like “I’m here for you” and such.

I have no doubt his chances with this celebrity are beyond nonexistent - just feel like it’s a bit strange. He’s in a relationship.

It’s one thing to look at photos of a celeb crush but leaving cringey, stalkerish messages.......creepy and weird. I’m sure the celeb can afford extra security but it must scare them a bit.

Having a celeb crush is fine, leaving comments like you know the person "Here for you" is cringe.

Telling him his actions are unattractive, disrespectful to you and creepy would not be U or amount to “regulating his behaviour”.

My OH has a thing for paloma faith. It's a long running joke in our house whenever she comes on tv I say 'oh look, there's your bird'. His crush does not bother me in the slightest but if he started commenting on her fb posts I'd think it was a bit weird and a bit sad!
