Thanks for your replies earlier everyone.
The break up is still raw so just taking each day as it comes really. I don’t plan on making any contact with the guy in question, I haven’t for the last 6 days so I’m sure I can keep it up. I think today has made me open my eyes from his perspective for a change with him close to losing someone close. It pulled on the heart strings.
I’m sure he will pull through this difficult time though and wish him all the best.
