Anyone have any advice ? My inlaws talk about me behind my back. I feel so uncomfortable around them and I dread family gatherings . Has anyone gone through this and can offer advice please ?

Avoid the gatherings? You don't need to tolerate the company of twats. Relatives or not.

Doesn't everybody talk about other people? Do you know what they say? What does DH have to say about it?

What do they say about you behind your back? Do they say negative or positive things or both, and how do you know this?

As single said, doesn't everybody? That doesn't mean it's always a bad thing.

If mine talk about me I don't know about it, (and wouldn't care), but being around them is awkward and uncomfortable due to their complete lack of social graces. They are like that with everyone so it's not something I take personally.
