I posted a while ago bout stopping the depo injection. I didn't have my injection that was due 3 weeks ago. Since then I feel awful. My boobs are massive and so painful, I have a huge bloated tummy. I would swear I was pregnant if I hadn't one numerous tests. I am feeling very low. Has anyone else experienced this. I read about maybe going on the progesterone only pill as I am having a huge spike in oestrogen? Any thoughts anyone? I really would love some advice. I will book to see the nurse this week but she really wasn't sure about any side effects last time I spoke to her.

I had this injection once it was absolutely horrendous. My mood was really low I had anxiety which I’ve never suffered from before. It took me a few months to feel like myself but almost a year on and my period is all over the place still. Before this it was very regular. Hope you feel better soon x

I'm sorry this happened. Hopefully the nurse can clear things up for you

I don't recall terrible effects when I came off mine

I've been on the implant for 9ish years now...maybe longer. It suits me.

I have the depot. I feel great on it. But when it’s due I feel bloated like you do with back ache. Also mood feels a bit low. I put this down to being peri menopausal because I’m 46.
