Has anyone completely lost their mojo? Then somehow found it again?

I have completely lost mine!!
Feeling depleted, frumpy, tired, bored and lethargic. Just emotionally drained of all emotions!
I have put on weight, drink too much gin and feel like motivation to exercise has been zapped from my body!
I know it's only me that can change things - I just can't get a handle on it.
I'm a single mum to 2 dc's and quite often find myself going to bed at 8.30pm when they do. Usually because I'm tired but mainly because I can't stand my own company. I haven't seen friends in a while (they seem to cancel alot, which gets me down) and have no desire to date.
I'm sorry - depressing read.....
I know I need to kick myself up the butt but not sure where to begin.

Knock the gin on the head. Alcohol is a depressant, gin can be especially awful for setting of negative emotions (working behind bars, I had customers who I was banned from serving gin to). Without alcohol, you will have more self control and will achieve more. I used to have a good drink when I got in from work, then all my plans would be out the window, I'd just get drunk and go to sleep. Then wake up feeling low, struggle through the next day and get home needing a drink. I hope things improve for you op, Flowers

Oh yes totally agree with taking iron and vitamins too. This also made a big difference for me. I realised I must have had low iron for a couple of years. Felt foggy, tired, listless.
Less alcohol, more iron, more water, make soups (lots of easy veg), read up on the menstrual cycle (there's a lot that we were never taught!). you'll see a difference. Good luck!

Lillycake... I chopped my hair 8 weeks ago so your lagging behind!!!! That's today's task sorted for you. I had a number 2 back and sides and it doesn't grow back all that fast

Thankyou all so so much.
I have looked into a few things, including menstrual cycle. Having my bloods done tomorrow. I really need to stop drinking alcohol - I feel it's going to be hard as it's turned into a bit of a company thing for me.
All your suggestions are so appreciated. I'm going to take all on board. I'm so glad I posted.
My hair is in need of a colour. I'm noticing the greys even more so. Its on my list. I might even shave my legs (I told you I had let myself go).

I could have written your post.. apart from the Gin bit.. because I'm experiencing other physical symptoms after research found they are typically peri-menopausal so am awaiting an appointment with GP to discuss HRT.. but a lack of vitamin D is also common with our type of symptoms too.

I'm trying to do more self love activities which keep the weight loss motivation going had my nails & hair done today which is a bit of a boost!

I generally feel like I've aged 10 years in the last few months.. no spark, no mojo & no joy!!
