Can anyone please direct me to the thread where OP had overheard a conversation between her DH and SD? I seem to have lost it, was wondering if OP is okay?

Zofloramummy · 07/05/2019 11:30

MNHQ have pulled it. Don’t know why.

WildFlower2019 · 07/05/2019 11:30

Yeah, I had it in my watched threads list and it's been deleted ... no idea why

'Taking a look behind the scenes' normally means troll.

churchthecat · 07/05/2019 11:43

FFS, was that a troll too?

FireflyEden · 07/05/2019 11:44

Wow did not see that coming, unless she asked for it to be removed.

I think they normally say something different if the OP asks for it to be removed.

Absolutely screamed creative writing class troll to me, so not surprised it went.

Xxalisoncxx · 07/05/2019 22:00

This oneI really believed, some serious creative writing as the poster above said. Wow, the things people troll about on here amazes me at times

cocodash · 07/05/2019 22:20

I read that whole thread last night. Does this mean the OP was a troll and made it all up????

OhioOhioOhio · 07/05/2019 22:27

Wow. I felt really sorry for her.

LikeDolphinsCanSwin · 07/05/2019 22:29

It didn't seem likely that she could have arrived home from work and got near enough to hear the conversation, yet they didn't know she was there.

Ninkaninus · 07/05/2019 22:33

Yeah...I did raise an eyebrow at that one.

Izzy24 · 07/05/2019 22:34

I’m grateful for all the people who bothered to post - there was one reply which has been especially helpful to me.

I wondered if it had been pulled because the OP identified her husband’s profession?

FireflyEden · 07/05/2019 22:58

@Izzy24 I wondered that as well.

leomama81 · 07/05/2019 23:39

I was wondering about this too - she did seem so genuine! I am struggling to believe she was a troll but maybe I'm gullible...

FatherBuzzCagney · 08/05/2019 11:38

I wondered if it had been pulled because the OP identified her husband’s profession?

If it had been pulled at the OP's request for this or any other reason then the deletion message would have been different - it always is. Why would MN need to 'take a look behind the scenes' if the OP was on the level? There would be nothing to take a look at.

Seemed like a pretty obvious troll to me: the 'Take a Break' dilemma, the live updates, the rapid developments, the writing style.

And thank god it was made up, rather than something some poor woman was actually having to live through.

HappyRoots · 08/05/2019 13:51

"And thank god it was made up, rather than something some poor woman was actually having to live through."

That's a good way to look at it I think (before you said that I was thinking what a shitty thing to troll about. I'm v. gullible and felt quite invested in it). ho hum.
