dh and i have now split. he has been a complete ass since last august/sept and admitted this feb that he has had 2 affairs, which i had a gut feeling about but he denied anything had happened, but then turned around and admitted it cos he got in sh*t at work and his manager found out!
dd and i are now with my parents, but i feel like i dont 'belong' anywhere anymore

bumping this for you

This is what I felt like in the days I spent at my parents before going into the women's refuge. If you look at it one way it is a huuuge step back to go back to the parental home but looking at it differently it is a massive step forwards.

Good Luck!

I'm at my mum's temporarily too after H and I split following his affair.

I understand that feeling of not belonging anywhere. But when the time is right you can get your own place for you and dd and it will be an exciting fresh start. For now, enjoy the support that your parents can give you.

Get dd to bed and head out with some friends. Enjoy your mum's home cooked meals! Let them do bath time while you put your feet up... Let them look after you for a while! You sound like you deserve it

I am filing for divorce and our house is now sold. My solicitor said i wouldnt be able to keep it on myself and he didn't have to pay anything towards me and dd staying there, so he has his own flat.
