We both sleep in bed together and I always wake up to her crying, yelling, screaming while she's having a bad dream what's the best thing for me to do?

callofdutyslayer · 20/02/2019 07:44

She's 19 and she's a human

WTF.

mrbob · 20/02/2019 07:44

Princess?!

Catamaran1 · 20/02/2019 07:45

Has she had any trauma in her life?

AvaTheGardener · 20/02/2019 07:45

There's a pea under the mattress. Get rid of it and she'll be fine.

NiceViper · 20/02/2019 07:45

Princess of where?

Still with palaces, castles etc? Or one of the old dethroned royal houses, and in a more ordinary house?

Age? (Princess by birth, who could be any age; or princess by marriage, presumably adult)

Tennesseewhiskey · 20/02/2019 07:45

Wtf?

She isn't a princess. She is a woman.

How do people live with someone, who refers to them as a princess?

I don't know, talk to her? Ask her about it?

Blueuggboots · 20/02/2019 07:46

This could be one of two things....
The pea is making her uncomfortable
She is dreaming that you're going to lock her in a tower....

callofdutyslayer · 20/02/2019 07:46

yes

ContessaIsOnADietDammit · 20/02/2019 07:47

19 years or 19 months? I'm presuming the latter or presumably you'd have talked to her about it!

In either case, hug, pat and soothe works well IME.

callofdutyslayer · 20/02/2019 07:48

lol I just noticed it put princess and not my girlfriend I have autocorrect on

You're going to be late for school son.

IncrediblySadToo · 20/02/2019 07:48

Find a good therapist.

53rdWay · 20/02/2019 07:48

That’s one hell of an autocorrect.

TheFatberg · 20/02/2019 07:49

Find the witch who put a curse on her and trap her under a house.

BaronessBomburst · 20/02/2019 07:49

Are you a frog?

callofdutyslayer · 20/02/2019 07:50

I meant too put {My Girlfriend} not my princess

OP posts:
RedFeltHeart · 20/02/2019 07:50

Are you her mum, her dad or her boyfriend?

I mean, no one should be referring to an adult woman as a princess, unless she actually is a princess, but I am aware that people who fall into one of the above 3 categories often use this patronising term.

Generally parents don't use it after the child is out of KS1 though...

Just wondering now how I'd react if someone called me their princess...

Myusernameismud · 20/02/2019 07:50

Dear lord.

callofdutyslayer · 20/02/2019 07:51

OP posts:
RedFeltHeart · 20/02/2019 07:51
