Court tomorrow.

I am in court tomorrow as a witness against my ex.

He is accused of harassing me, he broke into my house, he stole my dog, threatened to kill me.

I am so nervous that they are going to make out I am lying. I know I am not but he has plead not guilty so I guess he is confident they will believe him.

He has been convicted before but I stupidly gave into him pressuring me and we got back together. I am scared this will go against me.

I don't know what to wear, I don't want to drive to the court in rush hour, I just feel sick.

Hand hold please!

Pleased to hear you were spared the ordeal. Hopefully now he's seen that you were not too scared to turn up he will leave you alone.

Dontcarewhatimdoing · 29/01/2019 15:24

Glad to see he changed his plea. If he keeps contacting you make sure you keep reporting it!

hellsbellsmelons · 29/01/2019 16:20

Well done on following through.
So pleased that he went for the guilty option.
Now please get some real life.
If you were my friend I may just say 'well that wasn't a good idea' but I'd certainly want to be there for you.
You need some support now - please reach out.
I took one of my Ex's back way too many times - my friends were there for me every time!

That's good news! Well done op! Apparently that is common to change their plea when they see the witnesses have attended.

Be proud of yourself for going! And showing him he cannot win xx

Fabulous news! Well done for seeing it throughThanks

Hi- Ex was sentenced today;

30 day rehabilitation course - building better relationships

10 days rehabilitation work with probation

100 hours unpaid work

£285 fine to be paid to the court

2 year restraining order.

I hope that the rehabilitation works, and I suppose it is a good outcome. He didn't even complete the community service last time he was prosecuted due to his "mental health issues" he knows how to play the court. Hopefully they will be more strict this time.

So with a 1 year non molestation order and a 2 year restraining order, here is hoping I am rid of him! It's been a while entire week since he last contact me. That's a record.

Thanks everyone for the support. It was so helpful to me.
