i think they dont switch off.

if you dont touch it for a minute or two it just goes on stand by.

policywonk · 01/07/2007 16:50

Has it crashed?

AttilaTheMum · 01/07/2007 16:50

Does this help?

Scootergrrrl · 01/07/2007 16:50

They don't. If you press and hold the play/pause it puts it to sleep.

Gingerbear · 01/07/2007 16:50

is there a help line or anything online to assist ?

Hulababy · 01/07/2007 18:43

Ours does this sometimes. Normally if let to run right downor something.

Does it have an error message on it?

You need to follow the instructions on the apple website. It involves reinstalling the software sometimes - don't worry you don't have to put all your CDs back onto it though, it keeps them.

toggle the hold switch once or twice and then hold the middle button and play together for 6 seconds to reset if it happens again

I was going to say i got dh ipod to turn off by accidently putting it the washing machine(it was in his fleece jacket pocket). The only problem is that it has never worked since.

lou33 · 01/07/2007 20:19

lol think i might not try that if you dont mind !

OP posts:
lizziemun · 01/07/2007 20:26
