My (d)h recently ended an emotional affair. He swears they didn't sleep together. I think I believe him. But it's driving me mad not being sure. I have the ow's number and I am so close to texting her and asking her the extent of their relationship. Rationally, I know this would be a stupid thing to do. She will probably say no, they didn't sleep together, and I will be no further forward.So I will have opened the can of worms again for nothing. Tell me it would be a monumentally stupid thing to do.

My friend contacted the OW as her husband was a liar. She told her everything. She did then go on to taunt her and be very emotionally cruel to my friend as her marriage crumbled around her, so please block her on everything as soon as you have all the information you need.

I’ve been here and spoke to OW. An emotional affair I feel is worse than a physical one. I spoke to her years ago and she apologised. Years after when I told my partner what I did, he said he knew and she still tried to pursue him. If this girl knows about you, no conversation with her will help anything. I’ve forgiven him but I haven’t forgetton and I never will. Be honest with yourself. If you have no kids really think about what you deserve.
