Whats the best way to meet people on the net? dating sites? (which ones?) or adult chat sites? (or are they sleazy?)

Dating sites - the most respectable ones you can find - preferably something based around a common interest or experience (like vegetarians or graduates).

i met my husband on dating direct. were some sleeze bags there def. but easily avoided. lots of genuine types. i would avoid 'adult chat' unless thats what you want!

SP I met my now dh online! It was on the friendsreunited dating bit. He is wonderful so there are nice people out there! Good luck
