hi i need to talk bout some thing but want to change my name, can anyone tell me how? do i have to register again?

Hiya, go to My Mumsnet (at the top of the page).
Click on Registration Details.
Log in.
Where it says 'Chat Nickname' just type a new one in and then go to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.

Oh, and just do the same again when you want to change back to your old name.

click on the blue wrds above which say 'my registration'
log in
then click on 'egistration details'
write yr new name in the chat nickname box and click 'save changes' at bottom of box.

No - just go to 'my registration' and come up with a new name. Maybe do a test and check it's worked (just post something innocuous on another thread, or something). You'll probably also have to change your nickname in the box below the 'add your message here' box the first time you use it, I seem to remember.

techs done somethingclever tho, so it 'knows' when youve changed your name...ad you dont have to change it yourself anymore. nice touch, eh?
