How would your DH react?

Fransil · 01/06/2007 17:08

Your DH falls asleep on the couch, for a laugh you decide to paint his face up with makeup, lipstick, blush etc, he wakes up when there is a knock at the door and goes to answer it only realising what you'd done when he see's the reaction of the salesman on the doorstep.

Would he laugh or get annoyed?

How would YOU react if he'd done it to you?

you must have a lot of time on your hands

walbert · 01/06/2007 17:10

He'd hit the roof, cause he'd be mortified as he is fairly shy. I, however, hooted with laughter when i read your thread and for your purposes I would tell your dh he is being a stick in the mud. So, was he danni minouge or more danni la rue? !!

wannaBe · 01/06/2007 17:10

bored are we?

Boredveryverybored · 01/06/2007 17:11

I'd be pissed off if someone did that to me, but I'd quite happily do it to someone else if I got the chance and then pmsl at them

hypocritical me lol

Desiderata · 01/06/2007 17:12

I don't believe you.

walbert · 01/06/2007 17:12

And if he'd done it to me, well ispend most of my day looking like a moose dragged through a hedge so i personally would find it hilarious, but to make sure i got my own back i would obviously tell hubby i was really upset and then demand a great big back rub and tea making. And night feeds doing

Chugnuts · 01/06/2007 17:12

Ah those school holidays again.....

CrispyNoodles · 01/06/2007 17:12

Couldn't be arsed to shave his eyebrows as well?

Greensleeves · 01/06/2007 17:12

I don't think he would ever forgive me. Seriously.

walbert · 01/06/2007 17:13

What, shave his arse?

doggiesayswoof · 01/06/2007 17:15

Wha...? Oh, I'm going home

Have a nice weekend making up your dhs everyone.

Wotz · 01/06/2007 17:17

why would you do that for a laugh?

LazyLine · 01/06/2007 17:17

I wouldn't be able to gauge his reaction as I would be too busy laughing myself to death

I would hope he would see the funny side.

Kathyis6incheshigh · 01/06/2007 17:35

never forgive me.

I'd be worried if he did it to me because it would be so out of character, but at the moment sleep is a most incredibly rare and precious commodity in our house so as long as he did it without waking me up I don't think I'd give a toss.

jalopy · 01/06/2007 19:26

Yawn......

munz · 01/06/2007 19:31

deffo only comes out round the hoolidays.

fwiw, DH would be annoyed but he'd laugh it off and do something just as bad to me - naturally I wouldn't be able to say anything cos i'd done it first iycwim.

infact DH would prob stike a pose a the door and go all femine. lol.

Desiderata · 01/06/2007 19:50

I have a feeling this is a persistent troll (of the flicking nose, hysterical laughter variety).

All I can say is, if he slept so heavily that even painting his face didn't wake him, it's time to get him checked out for narcolepsy.

NineUnlikelyTales · 03/06/2007 09:31

When you are back at school tomorrow, get them to explain apostrophes to you.
