So, yesterday I met a prostitute...

In strange circumstances which are not relevent, but she was just a normal.woman, with 2 primary age children, works from home while they are at school. She said there is nothing she could earn so much from. I would never have guessed until she told me.

I just thought of all the women I read on here who find out their husbands have been paying prostitutes. She said nearly all her clients are married, They either have fetishes they don't want to tell their wives about or aren't getting sex at home.

I just thought, bloody hell, this must go on way more than most women imagine.

I have also never heard of any woman doing it because they enjoy the sex.

Sad

but bin men and sewer workers are doing a really important job, why would they feel bad about doing it? It may have some unpleasant aspects but nothing to compare with allowing another person to use you as if you are an object

It's not a pleasant job though. That's the point I was making. They do it for the money.

Depends on your viewpoint.

Not all prostitutes view it this way.
They see it as using their assets to make money.

I'm not in support of prostitution btw. It just annoys me when other women try to only blame men for it.

Also bear in mind people have different attitudes about sex. It's just an act for some. They have a very casual approach to it.

Newerversion · 29/07/2018 00:06

Without demand their would be no supply.

SandyY2K · 29/07/2018 00:15

Supply and demand go hand in hand.

Same as with drugs. If nobody supplied it... nobody could get hooked on it.

There could be all the demand in the world.... I wouldn't sell my body.

It's a choice that some make.

In my experience (work related) in the north west, you met an out of the ordinary prostitute.

In my line of work I meet prostitutes who are in most cases drug users, underage, foreign nationals, homeless, victims of trafficking, domestic violence and coercion, hostel stayers etc. As in the most destitute people you could imagine.

They make a pittance and face abuse and danger every day. One of the things that always gets me are the ugly mugs reports, shared accounts of violence, assault etc.

I asked her if she was afraid of violence, as that is something I know is common. She said she wan't as she has 4 Alsations wandering around! She also said she has never been fearful.

My view (for what it's worth) is that whether you are in a big posh house or being pimped on the streets you are being objectified and seen as nothing other than the means for an orgasm.

I suspect it is very rare to REALLY be in control as a prostitute. But this particular woman really did seem.like she was.

An ex of mine told me he had used a prostite several times on stag nights. He really thought there was nothing wrong with it. He was an educated professional, but genuinely didn't care that the woman was probably trafficked, even though she was brought to his hotel room by a pimp!

I see it all the time where I work. Gangs of men egging each other on to go into a brothel. I even saw a guy waiting for his mate outside the other day.

I don't think women will ever understand the male psyche on this matter.

She allows complete strangers into her home. If she thinks it’s perfectly safe; that’s only because nothing has actually happened to prove her wrong yet.

NotTheFordType · 29/07/2018 12:49

@OrchidsAreSlags
I know this is going to sound judgy, but women who choose prostitution, who set themselves up working from home and ave their own clients, how do they subvert the revulsion of having to have sex with someone they don’t find sexually attractive

If you're cut out for sex work, there is no revulsion. I'll probably sound like a total hippy here, but physical attractiveness is irrelevant to how I feel sexually about someone.

The classic advice to women thinking of entering the business is "go to your local pub and sit down and ask yourself if you'd be willing to shag ALL the men in there, for pay. From the 18 year old twats to Old Tim in his 80s".

My favourite client is disabled, morbidly obese, and has micropenis. He's interesting to talk to, and he gives the best oral I've ever had in my life.

SandyY2K · 29/07/2018 14:47

It's all about the money. The money is the attraction.

Why else would Melania be married to Mr. T. Money talks and gives unattractive men the ability to have relationships with beautiful women.

"So what first attracted you to the millionaire Paul Daniels"

Remember that?

NotTheFordType · 29/07/2018 18:47

"So what first attracted you to the millionaire Paul Daniels"

Hahahah, I do indeed, but having watched that episode of Celebrity Wife Swap (an hour of my life I will never get back) I think they were pretty well matched.

TBH for me, I just see clients the same as any other physical service provider. Your hairdresser, your masseuse, your chiropodist doesn't need to find you physically attractive to give you a service. Why would I?

SandyY2K · 29/07/2018 19:07

Your hairdresser, your masseuse, your chiropodist doesn't need to find you physically attractive to give you a service. Why would I?

It's not quite the same thing though. Sex is a very intimate act. Not like doing someone's hair.... but I think you might need to view it that way to be okay with it. Or perhaps as you said you view it differently.

I see it as money being the attraction.

People do allsorts for the money.

Newerversion · 29/07/2018 19:19

I know i couldn’t do it as the thought of having some bloke I don’t know and am not at least attracted to huffling around me makes me shudder. I realise though that other people might be able to disattach themselves in some way. Some people probably feel the same about being a chiropodist. Feet are a complete no no for some!

NotTheFordType · 30/07/2018 06:52

You're not wrong. Feet are fucking disgusting to me, there is literally no amount of money which would persuade me to be a chiropodist, or give pedicures, or what's the other thing, reflexology? Cocks I can handle fine, feet can fuck off!

RobinEggs · 30/07/2018 11:44

Yep, there is no way in hell I could ever be a chiropodist - even with a mask on there would be foot crumbs everywhere. Shudder.

But willies are fine. I always used to ask my clients to shower when they arrived. It wasn’t something I found revolting. Boring lost of the time, yes, but not revolting.

Being English and not obviously on drugs tends to mean you attract clients that like to reassure themselves that you are only doing it because you can’t get enough sex (men really are that dumb). I worked in a converted twin house, four girls, one on each floor, 3 English girls, one russian and a security guy who lurked around. We were all advertised on the same site, charged the same prices and at least once a week the Russian girl would get injured. I wasn’t injured or in any way threatened during the 2 years I worked.

Newerversion · 30/07/2018 18:38

I think they’d convince themselves of anything to make themselves feel more impressive! (Not ALL men obviously- just the ones like my ex)
I wonder why that happened with the one Russian girl? Poor girl.

RobinEggs · 30/07/2018 19:08

It always happened to non-British girls, the Aussies and Americans very rarely had any trouble either - the Thai girls always suffered the most. This was in a place where the punters knew there was a security guy in the building.

NotTheFordType · 30/07/2018 19:52

I think there is a general expectation in horrible cunts of men that foreign girls won't go to the police as they are likely here illegally. That they are also less likely to be getting safety information from other escorts due to the language barrier.

Newerversion · 30/07/2018 21:28

That is depressing isn’t it? Cunts!
Do you mind me asking- have you ever turned a client down for any reason? Do you sometimes just get a feeling?

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 30/07/2018 21:49

You’ve given quite a few details about the woman’s whereabouts, type of house, the fact that she has DC and how many dogs of a certain breed - are you keen for her to be recognised?

Newerversion · 30/07/2018 23:16

I hadn’t spotted that, there are a few giveaways actually!

loveka · 31/07/2018 08:52

I have been careful she wouldn't be recognised.

@NewerVersion

Do you mind me asking- have you ever turned a client down for any reason?

I, and most escorts I speak to, turn down at least 50% of inquiries every day. On dull days, can be 90%. If they can't follow our very basic screening process (which is individual to every worker) then they don't get the service.
