Does anyone else find men peeing on toilet seats disgusting and believe it disrespectful to the females in the house?

luczluutoo · 30/05/2007 13:02

had the very same opinon with husband just a few days ago..grrrrrrr dirty oinks

kittypants · 30/05/2007 13:03

your not fussy your normal.its horrible.i swore id teach ds to get it in the tiolet but doesnt always happen!ds2 will learn!!

lemonstartree · 30/05/2007 13:28

yes, but i am resigned to it with dh and 3 small boys in the house. They are not allowed to use MY loo in the ensuite. Well dh is if he aims properly!!

kittypants · 30/05/2007 13:34

ping pong ball in loo.get them to aim at that

gonnaneedabiggerboat · 30/05/2007 13:35

lemonstartree - you shouldn't be resigned to it - it is horrible and disgusting. You should teach your DS's to clean up after themselves and nag your DH whilst at it

DO NOT STAND FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!

OrmIrian · 30/05/2007 13:38

Not nice! But are you one of those women who object to men leaving the toilet seat up? . I used to but since I had 2 boys I'd rather it was permanently raised than risk having a wet seat to sit on.

Scanner · 30/05/2007 13:41

Yes, it's disgusting.

Another version of ping pong ball is to put cheerios in the loo for target practice.

luczluutoo · 30/05/2007 14:02

don't give a monkeys if the loo seat stays up forever.Get wound up at 2am when I sit on the seat and its piss ridden..and WHY do I always have to wipe the damn thing...

mumblechum · 30/05/2007 14:04

I leave those disinfectant wipe thingies next to the loos so they wipe any dribbles after themselves.

epsonstylus · 30/05/2007 16:22

hmm...not sure my dp will go for the ping pong balls/cheerio's idea...even tho what he is doing is childish. He seems to have a real bee in his bonnet (nice image) about it. He suggested that if he had to sit on wet seats at pub he didn't see why I had a problem with sitting on his piss, rather than some strangers piss like he has too. I just don't know what too say that isn't in a 'FOR F*CKS SAKE ITS DISGUSTING!' kinda way. Actually did say it was disgusting in a snappy way. Put up with it for years but don't want my dd to put up with it. I mean, what is the damn issue? Put seat up, don't have to put it down, I put both seat and lid down every time and I have to put seat down when he's been, or if the seat was down and I then have to wipe it dry...it really is a shitty thing to expect someone to do, clean up their piss up after them as they cannot be arsed to make a single lifting motion...

Going to apologise for snapping and tell him I just don't like it. And its not very respectful.

Thanks for the support and ideas

x

I assume your DP also cleans the loo?...

No, I thought not.

It is disgusting and very disrespectful. make him clean it every day.

Or pee on his car seat see how he likes sitting in pee.
