Getting divorced, does anyone have a really good home for a lovely doggy? (surrey)

Last resort really, my brother is going through a terrible divorce, no children involved but the pet pooch needs a home.
Does anyone know or want a staf cross brindle dog, he is lovely but better with older children or older couple who would have time to molly coddle him. he's 5 years old.
Ultimately, my bro would love to have him back once house is sold and he gets somewhere else but is willing to let him go completly if he has a nice home. He is not not not up for the pooch to go to a rehoming centre.
Any suggestions welcomed

I know some rescue organisations do 'fostering' schemes where they will look after your pooch temporarily if you have housing problems. i will see if I can find out for you.

failing that most rescue places are understanding and will NOT put the dog down if you give the dog to them

its not that he is afraid of putting the dog down, he just got him from a rescue centre and can't put him back in one as the dog was very depressed there. thanks, be great if you can get that info

the 'fostering' thing is in a 'home' environment too, not kennels

you could try here

but if you google 'fostering dogs in Surrey' it comes up with quite a few organisations and you could ring them for advice and i am sure they would put you in touch with someone who could help
