It was my 5th wedding anniversay on saturday and dh brought me a day pass for 2 people to Eden Hall for the day. How fab is he?? He's certainly improving, for our 1st wedding anniversary I got sweet FA.

Ahhh, bless him. I'm all luvved up about my DH today. A few girly friends are going off to Barcelona in March for a long weekend and asked me if I wanted to go (they're all single and childless!) - mentioned it casually to my DH last night assuming he'd go down the usual path of "we haven't got enough money, it's different for them etc etc" but he said "go with them, it'll do you good". Love him.

awwww, and a pass for 2 people is even more thoughtful

My DH forgot ours (no. 7) ...and even when he had remembered I still didn't get a card. Booooo. He does usually remember though maybe i should be worried ! I usually have to remind him of thinkgs like that though. WP did your DH think of that all by himself - I am impressed !

whizzz · 10/08/2004 19:37

Then again, maybe it's because I now spend tto much time on MN !

woodpops · 11/08/2004 08:22

Yep, dh thought about it all on his own. I was really inpressed. He's normally awful with b'day prezzies etc. Unless I tell him something I want, I'd normally get a load of rubbish. I think a silver calculator was the worst thing he got me. I always thought dh had no imagination. This just prooves me wrong. He's made a rod for his own back with this one now!!!!!!

Ooh Eden hall is lovely. Don't bother booking any extra treatments, you really don't need them, there is plenty to do for free. Do try the yoga classes - very good and not full of people who can do down dog standing on their heads (IYSWIM)
