Yes, luckily I remembered to do a search to see if you had posted before, and you are either a real person or one of the most convincing hoaxes in MN history
Enjoy the thread & feel free to add to it if you are in the mood!!!

awww, he's only tiny, trap him under the keyboard so he can't read the screen.

princessmel · 15/05/2007 13:28

My dh would never read mine. He thinks mn is boring and a complete waste of time. Why is he reading yours?

Blu · 15/05/2007 13:28

Hello MrKathy, welcome to MN! Lots of dads on here with their own username - sign up and take part...and then make sure that you and MrsKathy actually TALK in RL instead of reading the www!
(I would defintiely read my DPs posts if i knew he was part of a parenting site!! and it is the WWW, after all!)

Kathyis6incheshigh · 15/05/2007 13:28

PMSL Boco - brilliant idea!
A computer is like a giant cinema for us 6 inchers. We prefer laptops really cos it's such hard work pushing a big mouse around.

Make MN something you have in common Kathy, you haven't got anything to hide so let him read and even join in.

Or turn off your PCs and talk to each other, that's a novelty!

Boco · 15/05/2007 13:33

I panicked the other night that my dp had been reading mn as he was walking around singing to the tune of Mambo Italiano -

'hey fanjo, fanjo italiano
Hey fanjo, don't wanna tarantella
Hey fanjo, no more a mozzarella'

And fanjo isn't a word he'd know from anywhere else!

Niks · 15/05/2007 13:36

Just read that thread - pmsl.
Brilliant and oh so strange.
Thanks

WelshBoris · 15/05/2007 13:38

Your fanjo is like mozarella?

Weirdo

fizzledizzle · 15/05/2007 13:41

just read if mners were 6inches high funniest thread ever!!

Boco · 15/05/2007 13:56

No no, my fanjo doesn't wanna mozzarella, or a tarantella actually.

sorry its a public forum anyone can read

change your name and log out after each use

Kathyis6incheshigh · 15/05/2007 14:15

Bit drastic Twig - he's my dh not my worst enemy so I am hoping he'll respond to friendly persuasion

Blu & Welshboris - what if he joins and keeps posting non-MN-PC things and embarrassing me????

OP posts:
Twiglett · 15/05/2007 14:21

well patently he's not interested in listening to his own wife's polite request to butt out .. why do you think he'll listen to a bunch of strangers

he's obviously just nosy .. so if you do want your own space you'll have to just be a bit more careful because you patently can't trust him (which is rather sad really if you think about it)

theSelfishMan · 15/05/2007 15:14

fact of life i'm afraid - i still cringe thinking of the thread a couple of months ago in here wher a guy posted asking what the best way forward towards getting some more regular sex in his relationship - got some good advice, wasn't whiny...

And got busted by his wife. Painful.

SweetyDarling · 15/05/2007 15:27

Can you change your name so he can't track you?
I would be really upset if my DH did this.

Chelseamum · 15/05/2007 15:31

Change your knickname and don't tell him your new name!

stealthsquiggle · 15/05/2007 15:41

Kathy - just added you to mates list (I had your old name) - take a look at the message on the photos page and you will see where this leads..

Kathyis6incheshigh · 15/05/2007 15:54

Ah Stealthsquiggle - thanks! I was wondering where your old incarnation was.

They are fabulous photos (and lovely dcs) - you or someone you know must be a brilliant photographer!

Anyway, if I was really worried of course I would change my name, but there's really nothing on here that would bother him (Bear and Ray can always escape into the wilderness if he comes after them) it's just that I find it irritating, and at the moment what with having 2 dcs under 2 we don't have an awful lot of time to talk, once we've finished discussing cutting the grass and controlled crying and painting the window sills and potty training and the Sainsburys order (all of which has to be discussed whilst entertaining the baby and restraining the toddler).
And I have no doubt that this is precisely why he reads my MN messages, not from any sinister motive, but to make sure I am ok IYKWIM, and he just doesn't get how annoying it is.
But thanks to you helpful people on here he ought to get it now (plus he will be scared off by Taylor's excellent Phil Mitchell impression and Stressteddy's barking dogs.)
