how often you you and you DP have sex/make love?

My poor husband is feeling unloved as he always has to initiate sex between us.

He was even talking about us splitting up.

We have 3 children (8,6 and 3) and i feel permanently exhausted. Sex is the last thing on my mind.

I work part time (22 hours a week) in a low paid (but very rewarding job) and when i get home, I have to make lunch and then tidy the house before picking up big 2 from school.

Hubby works from home although work is very quiet and he looks after our 3 year old (who is also at preschool 3 mornings).

We only manage once a week and that is only because DH puts in the effort! Just wondering what the "norm" is?

most nights and sometimes in the morning too

I find it really fluctuates,

One week we will do it once and the next it will be most nights.

Sometimes not at all for a month!

I think it all just depends on lots of things between both people.

You would probably be surprised by how many women out there there are who want sex more than there partner does! Not always the man with the larger libido!

Our kids are similarly ages 7, 6 and almost 4, Dh works and I am at Uni.

The problem is he is a night worker so half the time he's chasing me round benny hill style, the other half the recverse- its getting it together that we struggle with LOL!

My third child was born in Jan 06, and the last time I had sex was the night he was conceived. The time before that was the night my second child was conceived and he was born in November 04!! I had IVF to have my first, so sex never entered into it!
I wouldn't be bothered if I never had sex again. I don't like it. Full stop!!

He has never said if he minds or not. Mind you he never really talks about anything.
I have just come out of hospital after having a vaginal reconstruction and various other gynae things, and not once has he asked how I feel.
We sleep in seperate beds, so it just isn't an issue. Or if it is, he doesn't say!
