46 year old woman .....dating 24 year old guy

What would you make of this? I've just found out, that my friend is dating a guy younger than her own son. She's 46. He's 24.

I do know it's none of my business (of course), but I'm wondering what a woman of 46 would see in a 24 year old (apart from the sex)?

I'm the same age as her, and my son is a similar age to the boyfriend, so it all seems a bit yukky to me.

Id find it weird too, I'd find it weird though if a male friend started dating a 24 year old. I'd probably be childish and resort to nicknaming her PAUL hollywood.🤣

Well it might be ewww if she'd known him when he was born or a child, but not as she met him as a fully grown man. I find the ageism depressing. The revulsion really shocks me. I'd see two people who like each other and are having fun, others see something awful, I don't get it at all.

Nor me Rainy. And I can't make my mind up if this is a case of some of the happiest relationships I have ever known being eww'ed all over, or if it's a case of everyday sexism and it's all about the disgust of a young man making love to an old woman.

I personally wouldn't want to. But each to their own, if they're two consenting adults then let them get on with it!
