Just read a threat below which reminded me of an unsolved issue between me and my DP.
Basically it happened during terrible snow and ice, I've had my driving license for 3 years which really isnt that long and I'm still quite a nervous driver so when the weather warning specifically warned drivers not to attempt unneccessary journeys I didnt need any convincing!
Anyway DP decided he wanted to go into town, he didnt have insurance to drive my car so decided I should drive us all there...that's me, him and MY two kids. I told him no, I would be prepared to go with him on bus but I didnt want to drive. He got all huffy saying what's the point in having a car and using public transport, he would guide me on the road, we would be ok, I should get used to worse driving conditions etc etc... I kept saying I didnt feel comfortable with it, especially as it meant taking the kids, I felt it was risking their lives just to go do a bit of shopping so he went in a huge mood and shouted "oh whatever, do what you want" and stormed out. Feeling very upset about it at the time as I hadnt seen him for weeks I eventually agreed and he was all "see, I told you it wasnt that bad" but deep down I was fuming and I was angry at myself for giving in.
Now, months later he still insists he didnt do anything wrong, I'm still bitter about it. Looking for opinions...
