Our first wedding anniversary is approaching and I would like to give my dh a thoughtful present. But I am not a very thoughtful person. So please help me.

nowornever · 04/04/2007 22:47

ticket to somewhere (one or both of you, depending on his performance over the past year!!)

cazzybabs · 04/04/2007 22:48

a cook book (that is what I gave dh)

or if you are feeling rich:
\link{http://www.foryoureyesonly.me.uk/home.asp\this would be cool]

or a ticket for a nightout, or a handwritten note giving him a free massage or a booking conformation for a night in a hotel?

mumto3girls · 04/04/2007 22:49

cazzybabs · 04/04/2007 22:49

I bought DH a packet of old fashioned Izal toilet paper - the type you used to get in public toilets that slides around.

luckylady74 · 04/04/2007 22:55

made my dh a scrapbook/album type thing with tickets ,photos and so on from our years together - still had his number scrawled on a flyer from the night we met!
i arranged ilaws to bsit and went to a dayspa with dh - but i know not all dh would appreciate a spa.
i think books, gig tickets - anything that you know he'd really like and preferably that you could both enjoy.
i did write him some 'vouchers' one year when i was short of money - use your imagination!

Goodasgold · 04/04/2007 23:01

Cazzybabs I think he would like those pictures.
Ha ha ha I could have my titties (norks)draped one over my shoulder and the other over my knees, with feathers on so it looks like a boa.
Thats a really nice idea may go with that, will have to do a bit of overtime, sorry if any of the above sounds sarcastic, my body rather than your lovely idea, really like it and thanks for posting.

Or you could get one of those phoney newspapers that you supply the relevent details for. I did that for my bf just recently. Loved it!

Goodasgold · 04/04/2007 23:03

Luckylady I have no imagination.
Love the idea of your scrapbook, but think my dh would like nudy pictures more.
Hope I get a scrapbook or tickets to somewhere cool, or hot.

i meant use your imagination to think what i made the vouchers about as they were too rude to say!

cazzybabs · 04/04/2007 23:08

I had them done for a wedding present...it was so much fun doing it. It didn't feel seedy or anything. Dh still likes to look at them (the dirty old man in him!!!). but it was really unlike me so Ithink he loved it becasue he was so suprised.
