Can you remember your first kiss?

Hi, I'm just after opinions/experiences really. So my bf recently told me who his first kiss was with (just a random conversation we were having) and although it doesn't matter at all who it was, it was a mutual friend who we have had lots of conversations etc about. I just think it's weird that he has never mentioned it before but he says he forgot she was his first Hmm
So my question is, do you remember who your first kiss was with or would you have to have a good think? Just to settle a debate really!

Yes but its so very outing. It became a running joke at school and I ended up having to tell the Biology teacher all about it halfway thrpufh an A Level maths class!!

TheNaze73 · 01/08/2017 07:23

Can't remember who it was but, it was nearly 40 years ago

cheapskatemum · 01/08/2017 08:18

Yes, I remember it well, from the location: the dustbin shed (I'd just been cleaning out my pet mice's cage), to the occasion: my neighbour's nephew, whom I had a massive crush on, was leaving to go back to New York, where he lived. I was 14, he was 23. I was so deleriously happy that he'd thought of me and remembered to come and say goodbye. I was embarrassed by the actual kiss as it was one of those where your noses bang and it lands in an indeterminate area somewhere between your lips and cheek, but I'll remember it forever. We kept in touch and he showed me & my boyfriend round New York when I was 20 & was in USA doing Camp America. He was married by then, but my boyfriend was still jealous!

That was 42 years ago Shock

helhathnofury · 01/08/2017 08:39

Age 13, my mate wanted to cop off with this lad for ages and a deal was struck that he would if I copped off with his mate. Being the good friend I am I obliged - didn't fancy him but he wasn't horrible either. The kiss itself was meh, but I love a good snog still at 42.

NoFuckingRoomOnMyBroom · 01/08/2017 08:42

Unfortunately yes I can, it was shit-luckily after a rubbish 1st kiss they can only get better...

Soopermum1 · 01/08/2017 08:52

At the school disco, about 14, I confided in the class bad boy that I fancied one of the other lads in our year. He offered himself up for practice. It was quite nice, from what I remember. Can't remember who the object of my affections at the time was though

My art teacher was there, it was a small wedding, it still makes me cringe Grin
The kiss itself was pretty rubbish and I didn't meet the boy again.

lottieandmia · 01/08/2017 09:32

14 and 23? Shock if a 23 year old went near my teenage dd I'd knock his block off! Angry

pudding21 · 01/08/2017 09:53

Urgh, yes unfortunately. I didn't chose well. It was a bet.
Since then though, most first kisses with a new person have been good. I love kissing!

myusernameisnotmyusername · 01/08/2017 11:07

I remember mine. I was 12 and he was 14 and it was at summer camp. I was determined to kiss him as all my friends said they'd had theirs but I don't think they had. It was actually amazing and it felt like the room was spinning round! I can still remember the song- Miss you like crazy by Natalie Cole! I saw him a few years later and he'd gone from blond boy next door to a black haired goth!

HungerOfThePine · 01/08/2017 16:44

Would rather not remember Envy(not envy) it's not something I ever think or thought about until you asked the question.

DoIDontIhavethetalk · 01/08/2017 19:01

Sadly, yes Envy (green with nausea, not envy)

cheapskatemum · 01/08/2017 19:14

lottieandmia my D(departed)M had scruples that were somewhat different to most. At 14, I hadn't worked that out. As I remember, she encouraged the friendship. I guess it meant she trusted me, a lot.

WinchestersInATardis · 01/08/2017 19:19

Yes, I was 15. It was at a school disco (which seems to be an MN theme) and it was pretty awesome. Grin

Dinosauratemydaffodils · 01/08/2017 19:23

Yep. He invited me around to play with him and other friends but had "forgotten" to invite anyone else. We went onto the balcony and listened to music. During 99 Luftballons he stuck his tongue in my mouth, I almost choked in surprise. I was 11 and he was 13 or so. Whenever I hear the song in English or German I think of him.

Ruddygreattiger2016 · 01/08/2017 22:41

Ew, unfortunately yep. I was around 12 ish and he was a year or 2 above me in school with really thick glasses and a mullet (well it was the 80's). We had never even spoken before but a load of us out drinking cider in a field and he wanted a snog - lots of tongue, LOTS of saliva, ick ick ick!!! Didn't bother snogging anyone for quite a while after that hideous experienceSad

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 01/08/2017 22:49

Vividly! Age 11, outside a church youth club. We "went out" for a few weeks and then I "went out" with his best friend. Friends with him on Facebook now though haven't seen him in 20 years+! Was lovely actually

Lexieblue · 02/08/2017 00:30

I remember mine, first proper boyfriend and first love (well as far as teenage love goes anyway!)

I asked DH if he remembers his and he says he doesn't so maybe not so unusual OP. Although DH doesn't seem to remember the first time he had sex either, so it was either a)really rubbish so forgot it b)was so great his brain HAD to block it out because itd ruin him for other women c)he was drunk or d)he's just really not sentimental about memories of first anythings
