What do you love about your bodies?

I have always been very tiny & slim. As a teenager that was a blessing but when I had DD & my body changed after that I had to adapt to the way it was going to be from then onwards. Now at 26, I finally am comfortable & can honestly say I do love my body. Stretch marks, mum tum & jiggly bits alike.

I went shopping with DD today. I haven't been shopping for myself for over 2yrs. I look at the fashion in the shops & wonder what suits my body now. I come home chuffed with what I have (and the bargains DD picked up!) & im pleasantly surprised at how womanly & sexy I feel. I haven't bothered with my look for so long because life got hectic with our wedding last year, new job & TTC number 2 currently. I look at women around town & there are so many features of each & every one of them that make me think "wow you're beautiful".

So tell me, what's changed since having your DC's & what do you love about your body now? 😁❤️

I have nice hair and nice eyes.

Everything else is lumpy, bumpy and indicative of carrying 4 children and having had 4 c-sections.

But - with the right clothing I look ok. And like pp, when I am on holiday and in a tankini I don't GAF.

We are too hard on ourselves Wink

What a lovely thread.
Making me really think about how amazing my body is. I am trying so hard to develop my self love so here goes:
I love my collarbone area
My forearms are lovely
I have a lovely face
I love how strong I am becoming again
I love how my body makes my mind feel after exercise

That was the aim of this thread. To remind you all that you're beautiful & to love yourself. It's so easy to get sucked into what is known to be beautiful based on what you see on tv, social media, magazines etc. It's not easy adjusting to our ever changing bodies.
