Am sick of reminding DH to flush the toilet whenever he uses it or I just have to flush before I use it to avoid arguing. Are your men like this because am really fed up?

I gather tampons should not be put in the toilet

Not flushing after a wee is ok unless it's that really stinky wee men do first thing in the morning.

What gets me is he doesn't lift the seat so I always have to wipe it before I sit down otherwise I sit in piss Angry.

No tampons shouldn't go down the loo. II've only just learnt this and also flushable wipes (the ones I use to mop up said piss) shouldn't actually be flushed.

I'm a guy and think it's a vile habit. My partner's son (a young adult) does this occasionally. He'll also not wash his hands, after peeing, which is even bloody worse.

Anyone over the age of about 3 who can't remember they need to flush (and wash hands) needs remedial potty training.

This would be a deal breaker for me.

It is massively disrespectful not to flush, whatever is in the bowl. I could not be with someone who did not flush. As someone upthread has mentioned - probably not washing hands or festering crevices.

cheeseismydownfall · 06/07/2017 04:18

A bit off topic... we are all wee flushers in our household, but each to their own and I do get the argument that it is very wasteful. But what do non-flushers do when visiting a flushing household? We recently had house guests for two weeks and to my horror they were non flushers. So I was constantly being surprised by toilets full of their piss. Surely this is bad form?!

A lot of people let yellow mellow purely for environmental reasons . Not flushing number 2's though is just too much. I would jam the f&ckers head down the toilet and flush it just to remind him.

Put it on his Facebook timeline every time. Vile. Mine flushes but wouldn't clean his skid marks properly for a few years. It was disgusting and I knew he'd make sure they were cleaned properly if he was in someone else's house.
