How do you make a man be more romantic?

I think the thread title is a bit off tbh

imagine one that said "How do you make a woman be more sexual?"

I'm not sure you can change them or mine would be changed, I have tried. He will pick a romantic vacation and invite family, his side!! WTF, and he prefers to sneaking off in the bathroom and doing himself rather than spontaneous sex!! Sex is planned, same time every week, etc. I have been nice and asked him to change, I have been impatient after that, and NOTHING. Maybe I should reveal that I know what he does in the bathroom, everything is just programmed, men are who they are but my dad after being with my mother for 35 years finally started buying her roses because I told him that she deserved them and he was suprised she ever wanted them!!
