How do I broach the subject of smelly feet?

Without causing him to feel embarrassed or uncomfortable?

It's really putting me of him

When you've told him, he needs new trainers and to chuck the old ones! They will just keep the prob going even if washed I'm afraid.
He could also use a non scented antiperspirant like one of the 48 hour ones like Mitchum as they will stop the sweat in the first place. And socks! Socks are essential.

wuckfit · 07/06/2017 11:49

Well, I said to him "shall I wash your trainers they are a bit stinky now"

He said oh my god have you noticed? I know they do I was going to wash them, I said you need to wear socks too, he agreed and it turned into a bit of a joke.

Anyway he washed them on a boiling wash 🙄 safe to say he won't be wearing them again they are ruined. We have had a giggle and everything is fine!

I don't know how anyone wears trainers without socks. Ewww. No wonder they stink!!

CheersMedea · 07/06/2017 12:02

Anyway he washed them on a boiling wash

Best way to wash trainers is top rack dishwasher. I thought everyone knew this?

abbey44 · 07/06/2017 12:03

God, I wouldn't put trainers - especially manky ones - anywhere inside my dishwasher. That's revolting.

abbey44 · 07/06/2017 12:05

Mind you, having said that, I did hear of someone who put their loo brushes in their dishwasher. Now that IS beyond horrible. I made a mental note never to eat at their place!

ShockShock

wuckfit · 07/06/2017 15:32

😷😷😷😷 loo brush in a dish washer??? And I wouldn't put trainers on a dishwasher either .

30 degree wash in a pillow case , mine have always been fine.

I suppose he will have some nice new trainers to start wearing socks with from day 1 .

Operation cure stinky feet completed (I hope)
