Explain twitter to me

OK, so I don't have a twitter account.

My sons school upload to twitter that I look at sometimes and today I went onto my partners twitter, he doesn't seem to post much at all.

Out of curiosity/boredom I started looking through his followers/following list. There are a handful on each list of diferent half naked females, who on their twitter feed haven't posted in years.

Why would he follow them?

Am I right anyone can start following you and you don't nesercerally know?

Is there a reasonable explanation?

What else should I be looking at?

I haven't had any reason to suspect cheating before, but I don't know what they could be.

I can't get access to his phone as it has fingerprint on. Which until now has never bothered me.

I get what you say cookie, nice to have a 'male view'. Can you explain how following and scrolling through scantily clad ladies is the same as watching GOT though...Nudity in general TV programs is incidental to the story, girly accounts on twitter are followed for the sole reason of titillation. The intent is completely different, isn't it?
So OP, at some point DP followed accounts for the sole reason of using it for getting sexual kicks - probably what he spends his time scrolling through. If he's doing this infront of you, how do you feel about it?

They are the "bot" style spam accounts. I block them but then again I have notifications for twitter turned on. Someone less savvy would likely not notice.

I've had bot accounts follow me. Simple things like inspirational life quotes and then they start spamming porn.
Maybe he followed back initially to get his follower count up? Have a look at his tweets & replies & dm's if you think something might be up.

Hopefully and probably all innocent.

I use twitter lots but don't block all the porn bots who follow me as I can't be arsed. I wouldn't follow them though.
