I work , raise two kids, and my bf said to me tonight, your legs arnnt as smooth, we were having sex and I completely switched off, felt meh and told him so, we got into a conversation why, and I said you made me feel crap because I haven't had time to shave, he then said , if you value me and our sex life you would find the time, who is wrong? I'm sick to death of having to pluck, shave, make myself into a tricking Barbie, do other women do this and if they do can you let me know where the from you got it in x

Jesus Christ - no man would ever say that to me. No man I would ever have anything to do with anyway.

In fact, it is because of dh that I rarely shave my legs. He has made it obvious that he loves me, not some porn ideal.

This sort of shite make me sad for my children and what will be expected of them when they grow up.

KungFuPandaWorksOut16 · 01/05/2017 11:03

Bit of a prickish comment in how he said it, he's obviously allowed a preference but
that doesn't mean you have to do it.

if you value me and our sex life you would find the time

If my DH made this comment he would think he was married too Chewbacca pretty quickly because I wouldn't be putting a razor anywhere near me.

SarcasmMode · 01/05/2017 11:11

When did he last shave/wax his pubes?

That shit ain't sexy. If he really cares about your sex life he'd be rid of it.

Or you could just get rid of one giant hairy cling on...

SarcasmMode · 01/05/2017 11:11

Just realised it sounded like I was talking about a shit. I meant the boyfriend! Grin

SleepFreeZone · 01/05/2017 11:12

He is a fucking idiot.

georgiepants77 · 01/05/2017 11:12

Other half made a comment about underarm stubble once.... he didn't dare again!

It's only a bit of hair! To say you don't value him if you don't shave is really spiteful!
Would he shave/wax every inch of his body for you?!

If he wants a hairless bit of plastic he should be in a relationship with a blow up doll! Smile

picklemepopcorn · 01/05/2017 11:14

So he doesn't value you if you still have naturally occurring body hair? Tell him he needs to grow his hair down to his ass and get it curled, because you'd find that really sexy. If he a values you, he'll do it.

SarcasmMode · 01/05/2017 11:16

Is he rich OP? I've heard Harmony is only £30000

ohtheholidays · 01/05/2017 11:21

Your Boyfriend is a knob, are you sure you want to be with someone that talks about a few hairs when your having sex?
If that's what he's thinking about when your having sex then he's obviously not very good at it Wink

I shave all that needs shaving when I have a bath but that's for me not for my DH,I don't think he'd honestly care if I looked like part yeti and part woman if we were having sex,he'd just be happy that I wanted to have sex with him Smile

DoomGloomAndKaboom · 01/05/2017 11:29

You don't care enough about your boyfriend to spend hours a day plucking/shaving/beautifying yourself to please him, instead you choose to spend that time paying for a roof over your head and raising your children.

It sounds like you are a good mother with an idiot boyfriend. Excellent work on the former, have a rethink on the latter.

And exactly what is it he does to show you he values you and your sex life?

Roundandroundwegoagain · 01/05/2017 17:48

That's a horrible thing to say, if you care enough about what this silly man thinks then he can send you to a day spa so you have some peace, quiet and space to actually be able to do these things.
Idiot. Him, not you.

babycow38 · 04/05/2017 23:11

Just what I thought ladies, thanks for all your help, I will shave when I want, I will tell my daughter's they shave if they feel like it, stuff the fucking party line, I am telling my daughter's do what fucking pleases you

MusicIsMedicine · 05/05/2017 01:41

What an arsehole. If he cared so much about your sex life, he'd look after everything whilst you had a long bubble bath and shave. A few hairs is irrelevant, I've never had any complaints and I am lazy as fuck about shaving.

Valentine2 · 05/05/2017 01:50

You were having sex and he said this? That's really weird considering this is one of those times where you hardly notice anything else.
Prize prick.

Valentine2 · 05/05/2017 01:52

Tell him you want him to wax his balls regularly too. And all the areas round them. That should shut him.

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 05/05/2017 02:05

That's really weird considering this is one of those times where you hardly notice anything else.

I disagree. I'm married, to a man, but I'm also bisexual, and if I was with a girl and she had hairy legs I would notice straight away and I would find it a turn off. I'm not a douche so I wouldn't say anything, but it would be very obvious.

wonderingsoul · 05/05/2017 09:03

Id ask him what on earth he thougjt he would achieve by asking you that.. during sex.... did he expect you to run off shafully to shave them then joyfully skip back to jump on hes cock.

Id tell him that.. yes you can understand that unshaven lefs can be off putting for some. Esp if they are prickly.. but hes attitude is a turn off and thats a bigger and harder issue to change.

Personally i hate myblegs being hairy or stubly and if they need doing i wont let my dp touch them.. hes reaponce is to say not to be so silly.. its only hair...

The issue isnt he finds it a turn off.. everyone has their likes.. the issue is he so readly and eagerly wanted to hurt your feelings and make you feel bad.

Shayelle · 05/05/2017 09:08

LTB, kick back and chill, be hairy Grin haha!!

Adora10 · 05/05/2017 11:39

Well that would ensure he'd get no sex off me, in fact I'd be re evaluating the whole relationship.

FritzDonovan · 05/05/2017 11:54

I'm also bisexual, and if I was with a girl and she had hairy legs I would notice straight away and I would find it a turn off
Curious...I'm assuming you don't find hairy legs a turn off on a man?

MissBax · 05/05/2017 11:59

Ha what a dick! I'm actually surprised people like this exist. I shave my legs probably once a month (at most)! My partners always shocked when I have. Tell him to piss off and find someone who will let u be yourself xx

Peanutbutterrules · 05/05/2017 12:03

The good news is he's a BF so easy to get rid of.

Really? During sex? Oh dear....

LiDLrichardsPistachioSack · 05/05/2017 12:05

My husband likes my armpit hair!
But he loves me cuz I'm me, not some pornified image.

Cricrichan · 05/05/2017 12:09

Whattodoaboutthis - yes, so do you find it a turn off if a man has hairy legs too?

Op - I would stop shaving full stop. Or I'd tell him that I found male bodily hair a turn off and if he was interested in me, he'd make sure he was smooth as a pretty pubescent boy every day. Let's see what he says and how happy he is to waste hours plucking himself.

histinyhandsarefrozen · 05/05/2017 12:38

I'm also bisexual, and if I was with a girl and she had hairy legs I would notice straight away and I would find it a turn off

Some people have exceptionally fragile sex drives. [shrug]
