Honestly, I very well may be being over sensitive, but I want to make sure.

I had a baby boy a few months ago and said via text I'd like to start running as I don't feel great about my appearance and he replies with the message attached. It's the "shall I cancel the Chinese" bit that seems rude!?

Again, I may be being over sensitive, please don't be too harsh!

He sounds lovely, and good thinking on his part to check whether you still wanted the food if you're starting a fitness regime. Sweet and thoughtful Smile

Enjoy the Chinese.

Go running tomorrow.

I also first noticed the correct use of your and you're. Never let him go!

Another who thinks he sounds lovely and supportive Op.

I can see where you're coming from though.
I know myself when I want to lose a bit of weight, I get a bit defensive about any treats I have or if I skip the gym.
Then if my boyfriend very innocently says something, I can take offence at it.

Your baby is only a few months old, so relax...and enjoy your chinese.

Correct use of your and you're in a text. This is a stealth boast right??? :)
