Would it be out of order...

Would it be out of order to ask my boys' father if he would buy one of their scouts jumpers and I buy the other? He gives me maintanance too...it's just that the kids need the jumpers for next week and I'm so skint this month I'm tempted to ask him but his GF won't like it

Should I or is it too cheeky?

I would he's his child too. I wouldn't care about his GF. It's none of her business.

StrangeTown · 06/03/2007 21:44

Don't ask him! Tell him this is what the boys need!

Sugerbones · 06/03/2007 21:45

Her argument would be that they have her 2 kids at home to think about. I need two jumpers and they're £10 each...I can buy one but it would help if he bought the other. He hardly ever buys them anything or takes them anywhere so it's not as if he spends tons on them when he see's them...he buys birthday and christmas presents and pays his maintanance but nothing "extra".

I'd ask without hesitation. I wouldn't give a sh*t what his girlfriend thinks!

prettymum · 08/03/2007 12:15

he is your son's dad so you have every right to.

Not out of order in the least.

Don't tell him (texting is non communication to my mind) - you need to speak to him directly on the phone and tell him this is what his child needs.
