Changed my name for this one, sorry...
My DD goes to St John Ambulance group for kids called Badgers. The leader is a short woman with a bad limp, wild black hair and a big mouth. She tends to shout a lot, is quite grumpy (I've never seen her smile!) and is even quite aggressive sometimes. That was the only problem I had with the place but DD liked it.
Anyway My DH has had to pick DD up for the past few weeks and he's started saying some really nasty stuff about the people there, for instance he called the leader inbred and said that the place was ran by retards and social outcasts , this was in ear shot of DD. He also said he didnt want her going there anymore.
Last week I went with him to pick her up and a little bit of banter was going on between one of the other leaders and a parent...the parent called Bryan Adams gay in a jokey way and the leader went really serious and said "he isnt gay...he isnt gay..." but she seemed really 'confused' for want of a better word. DH said this proved his point that they were all wierd.
This week I went to pick her up and one of the male leaders (old man, only 1 eye, bit loopy) came over and said he was so hungry he could eat me (he said it to DD so I laughed along) he then ran up to me and pretended to bit my arm but he actually put his mouth around my coat and left wet marks! DD thought it was hilarious, I was a bit grossed out but darnt mention it to DH, I told my friend and she agrees with DH that I should stop her going as they seem wierd.
So are we being judgemental or are they a bit odd??
